Friend, Nebraska - World's Smallest Cop Shop? I came across this architectural gem in Friend, Nebraska early last month. If not the smallest police station it has got to be in the running. Friend, on the other hand was by no means the smallest town I have ever seen, pretty much just a typical town on the prairie.
Until this discovery the smallest police station I ever saw was in Chelsea, Michigan and that one was about twice the size of this -- the Chelsea station is now a small bakery. [Richard Weiss, 11/18/2006]
