Really worth the stop. Full of original weaponry, a real treasure chest, and tons of primary docs. Great!
[RobandPam, 04/22/2011]Formerly known as the Pirate Soul Museum when it was in Key West, it has just reopened in the heart of St. Augustine with a new name and a bigger building. The official ribbon slashing (with an authentic sword) happened on December 3.
It seems to have everything it had before (including the only real pirate treasure chest found so far and one of only two remaining authentic Jolly Roger flags that once flew on a pirate ship) and has added many new things ranging from static displays to totally immersive experiences.
