Bonney Lake, Washington - Skystone

A large square boulder measuring approximately five feet high and 8-10 feet long. Steps have been carved in the end for access to the top which is relatively flat. Local archaeologists believe that the lines and holes carved into the top of the rock were done by ancient Indians. These lines point to the position of the sunset on the solstices and other astronomical phenomena. [Dennis Dhaese, 02/14/2004]
