Cape May, New Jersey - The Ugly Mug

There's this bar in Cape May called "The Ugly Mug." The ceiling is covered with mugs that have names and numbers. The numbers represent the person's drinking club membership number. The club members come in, take their mugs down and drink. The openings of the mugs face West. The mugs that face East are owned by deceased Ugly Mug members. It's a pretty neat place, dark and smokey, definite bar atmosphere. [Crissy, 06/12/1998]
