Portsmouth, Rhode Island - Duke and Duchess of Windsor's Dog's Grave Pookie, the dog of the Duke and Duchess of Windsor ( King Edward VIII of England and Wallis Simpson) is buried just outside of Newport, Rhode Island, in front of a kennel formerly known as Bow Wow Villa. The grave had a little British Flag in front of it when we visited. The grave is next to the stone wall against the road. [Bill La Civita, 05/16/2004]
