There was a country dance bar on the West Bank of New Orleans (either in Gretna or Terrytown). and this dance place had a muffler man dressed in cowboy gear. I seem to remember it was holding a saddle or something -- I noticed he was holding something because his hands were in the same position (the muffler position!) as the MM in Metairie -- one of my all-time visual treasures.
