Chesterfield, Michigan - Muffler Man - Greg E. Normous This Muffler Man has a new hat -- to look like Greg Norman the Golfer. His name is "Greg E. Normous" and looks over a Putt Putt golf course at the "World's Finest Frozen Custard & Family Fun Center." [Annette Sodini, 05/21/2006]
Chesterfield Township, Michigan - Muffler Man I visited the Muffler Man in Chesterfield Township recently. He is in wonderful condition, although altered to look more like a cowboy/golfer than a standard muffler man. His stance, however is classic and un altered. He shares a miniature golf park and frozen custard stand with several larger-than-life animals. The place is a nice stop into the fantasy land of fiberglass figures. [Rose, 05/22/2004]
New Baltimore, Michigan - Muffler Man (maybe two) Sporting a jaunty golfer's chapeau, and a golf club, he is located in the
miniature golf course Located on 23 Mile road, just west of Sugarbush rd,
on the bank of the Salt river.
World's Greatest Admusements (and custard stand)
Another big guy is located about 200 yards west; his arms were
re-adjusted to hold a golf club as though he is about to swing. He is in front
of the driving range, facing north on 23 Mile road. [Dave Colangelo, 10/05/2000]
Ann Arbor or Chesterfield, Michigan - Muffler Men I know of the location of a Muffler Man. He is now wearing the guise of a put-put golfer in front of just such a business. He is located in Chesterfield, Michigan. The M-man has been there for about four or five years. [Bud Herz, 11/14/1999]
Ann Arbor, Michigan - Muffler Men There are at least two Muffler Men together near Ann Arbor. Just off I-94, down the road that parallels I-94, about a mile west of Weber's Inn. You can see Weber's on the left as you drive west on I-94. At the next exit, get off and cross back over I-94, and about 200 yds at the intersection, you'll see them on the right. I have not been there for over 10 years, but I'm assuming they are still there. I used to meet my Sales Rep at Weber's in the morning, and remarked about the MM all the time. [Bob Castor, 09/01/1998]
