The Feed Mill Complex

Old feed mill turned into a restaurant, antiques store, and weird ass playground complete with colorful shacks, an old carousel, and a firetruck to play on. The first time I visited I was a little freaked out by the shacks and found art sculptures. Then I was horrified when I went into the antiques store that counts among its items a giant clown and a mixed media painting that included lots of red paint and dentures.

People usually go out to Johnson city between April and July for wildflower viewing. This is just icing on the proverbial cake. [Shannon Kreiger, 05/22/2004]
