- J.W. Eaves Movie Ranch. About 20 miles south of the city. I-25 exits 276 or 276A. Drive east on Hwy 599, then turn right onto Hwy 14. Drive south for 6.5 miles, then turn right onto Bonanza Creek Rd for one mile. Turn left onto Rancho Alegre Rd (look for the upraised rock with the inset sign). The town is about a mile south, on the left.

I thought that some of your readers might be interested in a good stop off on highway 14 near Madrid. Near a little spot in the road called Lone Butte on county road 45 is a movie set built in 1969 for the movie the Cheyenne Social Club. It is a full scale old west town that is open to the public in the summer.
