19th century buildings assembled into a replica 1880s mining town. Mostly pioneer stuff, but the Diorama Building contains miniatures of mining scenes, and the Burro Room salutes the contributions of the miners' pack animal.

Mr. Hanky is clinging to the South Park Pottery near the photo-worthy South Park City photo op, and across the street from the even more worthy library. The Library sponsors a walk around town, with pit stops that feature the storybook Prunes and Rupe, and lots of Fairplay's interesting history.
