Tiny Church While driving through the small town of Ste-Famille on the Ile d'Orleans (Island of Orleans), Quebec, Canada, I saw an incredibly small chapel -- about 10x15 feet (estimate). While peering inside I was surprised to see the good condition the chapel was in. There was an altar, and room for about 8 people to stand. I did some research and found that this chapel's name is Persession Chapel and was built in 1743. Not the smallest church in the world, but maybe the smallest in Canada? [Ken Balcom, 07/28/2004]
