My friends used to go camping near here, and every year they'd stop and see the statuary. This place is wild. Not only do they sell lawn ornaments of all types, but there is a whole sculpture park with Biblical scenes done in lawn statuary. Much of it is not in great shape; we have several photos of the lot of us posing with a headless Jesus statue. There is also a very large statue of a bizarre horse-thing, probably 20 ft. tall. If you are sensitive to the atmosphere of a place, watch yourself here -- my friends with high sensitivity find the whole area incredibly creepy. I mostly just found it bizarre, although the giant horse freaked me out. [Andi, 08/14/2004]
