North Judson - Toto, Indiana - Muffler Man - Indian

This Indian stands outside of Richard's Discount Store. They had a fire several years ago; when they rebuilt the Indian showed up. There are several types of discount stores in and around Toto. It's just a small hole in the wall, but if you are looking for something to do in Northern Indiana and you like discounts, then Toto is the place to go. A few miles south of Toto is Bailey's which is a huge discount store. [Kevin, 03/17/2008]

The Muffler Man Indian that used to scare the living daylights out of me when I was 10 was located at a now defunct kiddie amusement park in Chesterton, Indiana (now a water park called Splash Down Dunes). I have a picture of my family standing in front of him. I remember freaking out having to stand so close to him for that pic. I recently discovered another Muffler Man Indian standing outside a bargain store in Toto, Indiana. I was proud to see that my 5 year old did not share the same terror of the big guy as she stood between his knees. [Michelle N., 08/14/2004]
