Wisconsin Dells, Wisconsin: Big Cowboy

A large cowboy with a lasso and a six-shooter, mustache, big eyebrows, and dreamy eyes. Not of strict Muffler Men lineage, but close enough.

Muffler Man - Cowboy

Just an update on the Cowboy Muffler Man, located in the Wisconsin Dells behind the Lake Delton Mobil Travel Mart. Unfortunately, as in the past report, the poor Cowboy Muffler Man is still laying down (at least face up) in the back of the travel mart (gas station). What a shame -- other than missing the barrel of his six shooter and needing a coat of paint -- he is still in great condition.

Man down! Man down! I was passing through the Dells area last fall when I noticed this horizontal Muffler Man. Poor fella, his Six Shooter was, um, less than impressive. I can't say for sure whether he's still there at the date of this post.

Wisconsin Dells Cowboy Muffler Man

After recently learning of the elusive and prized Muffler Man, our vacation to the Wisconsin Dells came to an abrupt stop when I made my first Muffler Man sighting. Being new to this and understanding the importance of accuracy I thought I would send to you to confirm. While both hands are turned in, he fit all the other descriptions so well I thought I would send. Obviously he had a previous life..if you notice in his left hand he has just a piece of his original lasso left.

We've seen this cowboy in the Dells before, and hadn't previously classified him as a pure Muffler Man. Aside from the obviously mutant head, the rest of him seems to be constructed from vague memory of a Muffler Man, not actual molds. Let's consider him a mutant...

Wisconsin Dells Gunman.

Cowboy with Gun Drawn

Giant cowboy found outside gas station in the Sherwood Forest/Wisconsin Dells region, Wisconsin. He is about 20 feet tall and brandishes a gun in right hand with a lasso in the left. Cowpoke looks pretty, all shiny and new....but it was raining...

We've seen the gunman on earlier tours -- he's been there since at least 1998.
