Lake Placid Viking Muffler Man Another is missing. I just returned from another muffler man journey around NY and found out the Viking that is reported to be at a mini golf course in Lake Placid was taken down and moved to Lake George. Or so the guy working there said. As I had just come from Lake George and he did not know where exactly it is now, I didn't pursue it. Maybe next time. [anthony annoyance, 08/01/2004]
Around the World Mini Golf I understand this attraction has been sold to the mini-golf chain Pirate's Cove, which sadly intends to bulldoze it and turn it into a standard Pirate's Cove course. In pace requiescat!!! [Kate Mockler, 06/01/2003]
Mini Golf Viking, Kangaroo The olympics were held there twice, thus making the place capitalize on its international theme, all of which is beginning to decay (but in an entirely charming sort of way. I loved it there). One of these international-themed tourist traps is a golf course, with a kangaroo for Australia and a Giant Viking for Scandanavia. [Pamela, 06/01/1998]
