- On an 11-acre estate -- home of Jonathan & Bonnie Rothberg -- overlooking Long Island Sound. The site of a former quarry. "On or near Uncas Road." I-95 exit at Guilford. South on Durham Rd./Hwy 77 into town. East on Water St./Hwy 146. After about a mile, the road veers south, crosses railroad tracks, and then veers east again -- but stay south on Sachem Head Rd. After about a half-mile bear right on Colonial Rd. and then right again onto Old Sachems Head Rd., which turns into Uncas Rd. as you near the water.

In Sachem Head, not far from the Thimbles, on or near Uncas Road, is a very large replica of Stonehenge, on private property. Recently hewn stone, clearly astrologically aligned. The area is surrounded by radiating paths, lined with trees.
