Franklin, Indiana: Jesus Crucified on a Barn
Visitor Tips and News About Jesus Crucified on a Barn
The paint on the barn is starting to fade and peel, but it's still worth checking out. There are actually two painted sides, not just one. But beware -- there is nowhere to pull over on the road, and cars drive pretty fast through that area. Be prepared to take some quick pictures from the car window.[Natalie, 09/22/2012]

Drive approx 10 miles to the west. The barn is on the left . If you reach Indiana Highway 135 before seeing the barn, you went too far.
Down Indiana State Highway 44 on the way towards Franklin, IN, you will find this very unique painting on the side of a barn. You will see Jesus on a cross and the message, "HE DIED FOR YOU!" I believe there is also a painting on the other side of the barn.[Michael W. Moss, 10/27/2004]
According to Larry Johnson: "The Crucifixion was painted on the barn by a local church youth group, with the owner's permission, to cover and to discourage the obscene graffiti that once adorned this structure."
