Franklin, Indiana - Jesus Crucified on a Barn The paint on the barn is starting to fade and peel, but it's still worth checking out. There are actually two painted sides, not just one. But beware -- there is nowhere to pull over on the road, and cars drive pretty fast through that area. Be prepared to take some quick pictures from the car window.

Directions: From Indianapolis: Take I-65 South to the Franklin Exit (Hwy 44) Follow highway 44 through town (It will merge with 144 for a time before splitting off and going west). Drive approx 10 miles to the west. The barn is on the left . If you reach Indiana Highway 135 before seeing the barn, you went too far.
Franklin, Indiana - Jesus Crucified On A Barn Down Indiana State Highway 44 on the way towards Franklin, IN, you will find this very unique painting on the side of a barn. You will see Jesus on a cross and the message, "HE DIED FOR YOU!" I believe there is also a painting on the other side of the barn.
