The Stupa represents the mind of the Buddha. It was constructed during constant ceremony and prayer, filled with thousands of scrolls of prayer and small sculptures that are traditional to Buddhist Stupa construction. The project was directed by Tibetan Buddhist lamas and icontinues to be maintained by the local Buddhist community.
Prayers are amplified by the stupa, and visitors are encouraged. [Shannon, 11/22/2004]
