We saw a small muffler man high on a pole near mile marker 151 eastbound on Interstate 80 outside Rock Springs. He is wearing the standard red shirt and cowboy hat. Watch for him on the right side of the roadway. Wish we could have snapped a pic but went by too fast. [Dave, 09/28/2009]
Rock Springs, Wyoming - Muffler Man - Gone He's gone....we recently tried to find the Muffler Man in Rock Springs -- even asked numerous locals...they all remember him but said he had been taken down and did not know of his whereabouts.
