We recently stayed at the Cheshire Lodge in St. Louis over the holidays. This hotel has been in St. Louis for decades and is truly a one-of-a-kind place, with an old English theme throughout. First of all, you have to drive on the left side of the road when entering the parking lot. What we found most interesting were the themed rooms. We stayed in the Treehouse in Sherwood Forest. The bed sits under a canopy of fake trees and you have to walk up a few steps to get to it. It was so different from any hotel I've ever stayed in.
