It runs over the feet of an especially venerated Virgin Mary statue. Also here: the world's largest rosary.

Our Lady of Lourdes

The National Shrine and Grotto of Our Lady of Lourdes, maintained by the Sisters of the Most Holy Trinity, is on a hill directly off of Chardon Rd. in Euclid (it's not off of Euclid Ave. as my GPS had me believing).

The site houses a chapel (8:00 am mass on Sundays), seating for outdoor masses in the summer (9:30 am Sundays), a large rosary on Rosary Hill, outdoor Stations of the Cross, a dining room (they serve breakfast 10-11:30 am and dinner 12-3:30 pm on Sundays May-Oct.), a gift shop (open daily 10-4:30 pm, Wed. 10-7 pm, Sun. 8:45-5 pm), and of course the Shrine and Grotto.

I recommend the visit to every devotee. I greatly enjoyed mine due to the serene nature of the location. I even bottled up some of the water and hope to return some day!

Blessed Garden Hose Water

Where Euclid and Chardon Rd. meet, there is an "Our Lady of Lourdes" grotto. Pilgrims from all over the world come here to collect water that runs out of a garden hose over the feet of a statue of the Blessed Virgin. Here you will find the world's largest rosary . Built on a hill, you can see an abandoned, beat up house in the center of the rosary.
