After less than a half-mile turn right on Pencader Way (follow the first sign for Pencader residence halls). The Hen is right after the curve past the sorority houses. Also get to the Hen by descending stairs from Ray Street.

[Tiffany, 06/02/2006]The Blue Hen statue depicts the University of Delaware mascot. It is a large metal bird located near the Pencader residence halls. It is blue with a yellow beak, yellow feet, and grey base, and cannot be missed by people passing through. A large set of stairs located nearby the Hen leads to Ray Street.
