Casa Bonita has reopened under new management and is currently on a reservations-by-lotto system.

According to news reports out of Colorado, Casa Bonita plans to reopen in September 2021. The restaurant, famous for its indoor cliff diving and gunfights, closed in 2020 and then filed for bankruptcy in April 2021.
Casa Bonita's reopening is apparently unrelated to other news reports that "South Park" creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone want to purchase the fabled eatery. That hasn't happened yet, but Casa Bonita seems eager to reopen regardless of who owns it.

Real restaurant as featured on the Casa Bonita episode of South Park. Cliff divers, cowboy fights and random gorillas. Completely cheesy and fun. They def give the nod to South Park, with random characters hidden throughout. Don't go for the food, but the insane ambiance.
