World's Smallest Park

Looks for the "Mill Ends park" sign to help find the tree. It's easy to miss it.

World's Smallest Park

Visiting Portland from New York. Disappointed to discover the street dug up and the World's Smallest Park to be gone.

[Jodi, 08/29/2021]

The park is an attraction mainstay in Portland, and its tiny size -- one tree in a traffic median -- makes it easy to replace. We're fairly confident that when the street repairs are complete, the park will return. Sorry you missed it!

Smallest Park on Christmas.

World's Smallest Park

Did you know that the tiny evergreen in the World's Smallest Park also doubles as a Christmas tree? It was the perfect stop for a snowy Christmas morning walk.

Smallest Park.

World's Smallest Park

We visited the World's Smallest Park and discovered that some remodeling has been done. The two protective posts have been removed, leaving this little park even more vulnerable to traffic. The "grounds" are still in good shape! In addition to the small tree there are also some smaller plants, ground cover and a small piece of driftwood. It really does look like a tiny park now!
