Degenhart Paperweight Museum

Mrs. Elizabeth Degenhart owned two factories and collected over 4,000 of these "Globes of Beauty" until her death in 1978. In Oct. 2011, the museum closed and some of the collection moved to the Museum of American Glass, Weston, WV.

Degenhart Glass Museum - Closed

The Degenhart Glass Museum closed the last day of October, 2011. The paperweights and a large portion of the collection have been relocated to the Museum of American Glass located in Weston, WV.

Over 4,000 Paperweights on display.... featuring exhibits and video programs on PaperWeights and their history. A gift shop and research library are available for use.
