Forty two giant, decaying statues of U.S. presidents heads have been relocated to a busy industrial recycling plant outside of Williamsburg. The statues were part of a tourist attraction open to the public from 2004-2010. The statues are currently on private property and cannot be viewed from the road. Visitors are welcome several times a year for pre-ticketed events and photography workshops. Most adult ticket prices range between $20-$33.

They opened up a new attraction at Dollywood in May: a Dolly Experience museum. I stayed at her Heart Song Lodge. I was able to see her when she was doing press. She visits the park 3-4 times a year.

- I-40 exit 407. Follow Hwy 66 south as it becomes US Hwy 441. At traffic light #8 in Pigeon Forge turn left, and follow the signs to Dollywood.
A real-life actual Daniel Boone cabin! It was moved to Kingsport from Duffield, Virginia, in 1979. Daniel and Rebecca Boone lived in this cabin from 1773 to 1775 before settling in Kentucky. It's now part of the Netherland Inn museum complex.

- West side of the city. From US-11W turn south at the stoplight onto Afton St., then turn right at the stop sign onto Greenway St./Lilac St. Cross the train tracks and then immediately turn left into the parking lot. The cabin is there.
The ballpark now offers tours (must schedule ahead) and a prospect league team plays there, so it's a great place to watch a game. There is a small museum display under the third base side grandstand.
