Cincinnati is the birthplace of James Brown's career. He was with King Records, where he recorded a lot of Number One soul hits: "Papa's Got a Brand New Bag," "It's a Man's Man's Man's World," up through "Get Up (I Feel Like Being A) Sex Machine" in 1970.
