Directions:: From US-9 at milepost 90 turn south at the stoplight onto Beachwood Ave. Drive one block. Turn left onto Wave St. Drive three blocks. Turn right onto Anchor Ave. Drive a half-block. You'll see the yard with the heads on the right. Private property; visible from the street.

Yard Heads

Martina Smejkalova is gradually filling her yard with large concrete heads that she sculpts. Each is different; a few are six feet high. She calls them "Garbage Heads" because their innards are plastic trash.

30 acres of stone sculpture, natural buildings, and restored prairie. Includes a stone replica of Stonehenge, a number of unique sculptures, and other unusual structures. It can take a couple of hours to explore the entire site.
