Chang and Eng at Mutter MuseumMutter Museum: Today marks the sesquicentennial (150th birthday) of a favorite Philadelphia attraction: the Mütter Museum, a wonderland of human freak pathology. It has a great calendar, too. “The milestone will be celebrated with a dance in the Center City building on Friday.” We hope that no one tips over the giant colon….

Enchanted Forest: The Enchanted Forest in Salem, Oregon — home of the huge witch head — has been ravaged by an ice storm. “When we first saw this it was devastating,” [owner] Tofte said. “But we’ll just have to work like beavers.” The attraction intends to reopen on schedule in March.
