- Ames Monument

A 60 ft. tall granite pyramid erected in 1882 to mark the highest point on the Transcontinental Railroad. The Ames brothers were credited with completing the tracks that linked both coasts and their portraits are located on the base.

- Laramie Plains Museum

The Ivinson Mansion that now houses the Laramie Plains Museum was home to Edward and Jane Ivinson. Constructed in 1893 the home was saved from demolition in 1960 and now showcases historical artifacts.

- Lincoln Monument

The bronze sculpture of Abe Lincoln Head was completed in 1959. Weighing in at over two tons the monument was placed at the highest point along the old Lincoln highway US 30 to honor Lincoln 150th birthday. Now located off exit 323 on Interstate 80.

- Snowy Range Ski and Recreation Area

Snow Range Ski and Recreation area is located just outside of Centennial Wyoming in the Medicine Bow National Forest. Offering private and group lessons for all age groups. Rental equipment and dining options are available.

- University of Wyoming

Wyoming only 4-year institution of higher education. The UW Geology Museum displays one of only five full brontosaurus skeletons in the world. The UW Art Museum houses one of the finest art collections in Wyoming.

- Vedauwoo Recreation Area

A group of granite rock formations on Pole Mountain. The Vedauwoo campground beneath the stone outcrops is a popular destination for rock climbers hikers mountain bikers and outdoor enthusiasts.

- Wyoming Territorial Prison

Built in 1872 the prison housed of thousand prisoners including Butch Cassidy. The prison is now a museum that is open to the public.
