Carson, California - Muffler Man: Race Car Driver
If you're on the 405 heading south you'll get a full view of him. I snapped this photo out my side window sitting in Friday rush hour traffic when I was at a dead standstill. I hadn't thought ahead to get in the far right lane, but luckily my lane didn't move until after I snapped the photo!

Indianapolis, Indiana - Mr. Bendo
An original International Fiberglass Mr. Bendo stands in Indianapolis. It is said that perhaps only a dozen of these were ever made. The paint on this one is faded, and it's peeling on the pants. There is a hole in the top of the right shoe and a split in the left leg at the ankle. You can walk right up to him.

St. George, Utah - Muffler Man
A new Muffler Man with a beer mug is standing outside the new brewery in St. George.

Galena, Kansas - Big A the Texaco Giant
This custom-made, 22-foot-tall fiberglass giant was installed and unveiled on September 8, 2024, outside Gearhead Curios, a Route 66 and Jefferson Highway souvenir shop housed in a restored 1939 Texaco filling station.

Hot Springs, Arkansas - Chevron Spock Muffler Man
Courtesy of the Lloyd Coley family, here are several pictures of the Hot Springs Chevron Muffler Man in various parade configurations before he later became Mr. Spock. He was a Chevron Muffler Man before the Coley family purchased him, so his current owner, Lee Woods, did return him to factory specs.
