Coney Island hot dog stand.

Hot Dog-shaped Building Must Move

In Conifer, Colorado, the Coney Island hot dog stand is under threat of destruction if it isn't bought and moved by someone. The property beneath it along US Hwy 285 has been sold for development of a bank. The hot dog is 42-ft. long, with room for ten seated patrons. It was built in the 1960s; its most recent owners purchased it in 1999 and placed it at the current spot serving the Aspen Park area.

Interested buyers can call owner Lisa Firman at 303-726-3192. [Thanks to Tex Houston, Brian D. Smith for tips]
