Catsup Stain To Spread On Turkey Day
The World's Largest Catsup Bottle - actually a water tower in Collinsville, IL - will appear on Country Music Television's (CMT) year-end video countdown, which will debut on Thanksgiving Day.
According to the Catsup Bottle Preservation Group of Collinsville, CMT producers visited in August to shoot video footage. They also interviewed Catsup Bottle Fan Club President Mike Gassmann and "The Catsup Bottle Lady," Judy DeMoisy, who spearheaded a drive that raised over $77,000 to restore the 170 ft. landmark.
The 90 minute "year-end video countdown" will not only feature the big bottle - but will highlight many offbeat tourist attractions from around the country.
