Bruce Springsteen fans are hoping someone will rescue the mural and Clown Face on the side of the old Palace amusement arcade in Asbury Park, NJ. Springsteen once posed with Tillie the clown in a promo photo. The arcade has been slated for destruction since part of its interior collapsed a few months ago. The Palace once contained two great spook rides, an elaborate fun house, and a Ferris wheel that poked up out of the roof. Today, the Asbury Park oceanfront is a bleak no-man's land of closed businesses and stymied development dreams. Bruce Springsteen lives nowhere near it
