Jim the Wonder Dog Memorial Park opens

An update on Marshall, Missouri's Jim the Wonder Dog -- May 1st, 1999 marked the grand unveiling of the Jim the Wonder Dog Memorial Park, located on the spot where his home, Hotel Ruff, once stood on the downtown square. You can see a life-size statue of Jim and walk along a path with historical markers bearing stories about his amazing life. You may even run into someone who still remembers him. They are very proud of Jim in Marshall.

Downtown, on the west side of N. Lafayette Ave., just north of its intersection with W. North St. One block west of the town square.
Hours:
Daily 9am-dusk. Statue is lit at night. Local health policies may affect hours and access.
