A new landmark in Studio City, CA, is under attack by the locals. It is a twenty foot high fiberglass hand holding a sponge and a full size Corvette. It is located on Ventura Blvd. in front of the Studio City Car Wash. A few local residents have pushed to have it dismantled because it doesn't confirm to local sign ordinances. It's fate is to be decided at a hearing on July 30th. The odds are against it staying.
