Great Blacks in Wax Museum proceeds with expansion
Five years after a struggle with financial difficulties, the Great Blacks in Wax Museum in Baltimore, MD, is back on top. The museum is undergoing an expansion, and will also serve as a community technology center, outfitted with computers. It may be featured in a new movie. THE GBWM has also added new exhibits to its already impressive presentation of African American history and celebrity.
This is all in the wake of a recent attempt by Baltimore to lure the Museum into relocating down to the popular shopping and museum enclaves in the harbor area. The museum declined.
