- Williams, Arizona - Flintstones Bedrock City
I visited Bedrock City last week and it is much better than I remember it! I last saw it when I was less than ten years old. The most marked improvements I saw were fresh coats of brilliant primary-colored paint and the impressionistic, full-color statues of Fred, Wilma, Dino, and the Rubbles. It is located in Valle, AZ, out Grand Canyon way, at the junction of State Highway 64 and US 180.

A definite must for animal lovers. Not a typical petting zoo; never been swarmed by dozens of deer at a petting zoo. They will suck on your clothes if you're wearing anything flowy. And when you feed them, their deer lips will get your palm all slobbery. But it's worth it for some serious deer bonding time.
The boldness of the hungry deer might be overpowering for frightened little children, who may ask to be held rather than slobbered upon.

- Williams, Arizona - Grand Canyon Deer Farm
Not really worth the stop unless you have extra time. More of a typical petting zoo.
[Patricia Moyer, 07/06/2012] Very fun. No parrot on our trip. Lots of deer, and they try to knock your cup out of your hand. They will also nibble at your clothes. Look for the very friendly camel and a cute Pygmy goat.
[Tanya, 04/04/2012]- Williams, Arizona - Deer Farm - Allergic Excitement
Visitors enter the most kitsch-packed souvenir store I've ever seen in my extensive travels, buy a cup of food, then proceed past a parrot that meows, says "I love you", and generally gets very excited to see you. One enters a large enclosure and is immediately surrounded by small, hungry deer who eat from visitors' hands, nibble on clothes, and allow themselves to be petted. There are other creatures in closed pens, some of them quite exotic. A great experience, though people like me with animal dander allergies should bring some hydrocortisone.
