Watermelon no longer exists! Unless it has been moved to another location, it is no longer on Hwy. 367, nor anywhere in the vicinity!
[Mike, 08/16/2009]Giant Watermelon:- Status:
- Gone
I came across in June. It was next to the advertised produce stand. Obviously at one time, it was most likely a parade float. But it's still pretty cool.
[Tracie Price, 07/31/1999]The watermelon is 25-ft. long, lacquered over a steel frame, created for the town's annual parade.
A 65-acre park filled with prehistoric creatures and a 4-story tall King Kong statue.
