Since I'm a Minnesota native, I needed to see Paul Bunyan's younger brother. Definitely worth the trip off 62, with a winding road passing some pretty epic rural living. Got offered a beer by local townsfolk and get some pretty good town history from him.

Eclectic weirdo museum, art gallery, and gift shop. Features a photo-op Alien Autopsy, Paul Bunyan's sneaker, and a painting of bunnies wearing jetpacks.

Immediately take the Vaughn St. exit, then immediately turn left onto NW 23rd Ave, then take the first left onto NW Thurman St. The Peculiarium will be a half-block on the right (south) side, in the pink building.

Paul Bunyan was erected in 1959, and restored in 1986 and 2009. He is 31 feet tall, and is on the National Register of Historic Places. His construction was commissioned by the Kenton Businessmen's Association at a cost of about $2,500.
