Possibly the only known surviving foundry ladle from the National Sewing Machine Company, which made many items starting in 1886. Over the decades they produced sewing machines, metal cast iron toys (Vindex Toy Company), automobiles (Eldridge Automobiles), washing machines, bicycles, etc.
The ladle is on display outside the Boone County Museum of History.
