Rod Serling's 1937 Penmanship Certificate

Field review by the editors.

Binghamton, New York

Binghamton's most famous hometown hero is Rod "Twilight Zone" Serling. Downtown, in the lobby of the Broome County Forum Theatre, there is a permanent exhibit chronicling Rod Serling's life, titled "Day of a Playwright." He was a six-time Emmy winner, but for us the highlight of the exhibition was his 1937 Good Penmanship certificate. Neatness counts!
