Floyd Garrett's Muscle Car Museum (Gone)
Sevierville, Tennessee
"90 cars worth over 8 million dollars!" claims the attraction. And many of them are displayed with their hoods up -- which makes sense in a museum that's as much about bulging engines as it is about the sheet metal that surrounds them. You'll see gleaming 1960s and '70s Camaros and Firebirds, Corvettes and Trans-Ams, Road Runners and Hemi Mopars, GTOs and AMXs, a Thunderbolt and a Superbee, a 450 horsepower Chevelle LS6 and a cutaway V-8 engine from the 1955 GM Motorama.
Cars are rotated in and out frequently, but if you're lucky you may see Marilyn Monroe's 1959 gold Cadillac, a 1970 Torino King Cobra (one of only three ever built), and a 1940 Ford DeLuxe Coupe that hauled moonshine.
