Earnhardt Cars at RCR Racing Museum
Welcome, North Carolina
Richard Childress Racing built the famous black No. 3 cars driven by NASCAR legend Dale Earnhardt. Its original "shop" is now a 47,000-square-foot museum on RCR's sprawling campus. Displays include trophies, memorabilia, and over 50 race vehicles, 22 of which are Earnhardt black No. 3s. There's also a "fan walk" where visitors can peer through windows at the shop in action, and a section of the museum is reserved for displaying animals killed by Richard Childress. A pilgrimage site for NASCAR fans.
