National Brewery Museum
Potosi, Wisconsin
Not a beer museum but a brewery museum, providing "a total breweriana experience" for those who really care about how their beer is made. Its focus is on small breweries, many no longer in business. Housed in a formerly abandoned brewery, it features a working bar that serves beer made on site from local spring water.
Exhibits explore themes such as "Beer Goes to War" and "Responsible Drinking." Early brewing equipment is showcased in a cave where beer was stored before the arrival of electric refrigeration. The museum also displays items that you'd expect to see in a regular beer museum, such as bottles, clocks, serving trays, mugs, neon signs, kegs, bottle and can openers, saloon art, etc.
