Rick Treworgy's Muscle Car City (Closed)
Punta Gorda, Florida
Muscle Car City is 99,000 square feet of horsepower. It was built in an abandoned Wal-Mart, which should provide some sense of its vastness. Muscle Car City is the personal collection of Rick Treworgy, who began collecting cars in the early 1970s and hasn't stopped since. Camaros, Chevelles, El Caminos, Corvettes, GTOs (you get the idea), and a selection of vintage non-muscle cars dating back to the 1920s.
The museum is so big that it has its own diner, and its big box retailer parking lot is a popular rendezvous for car clubs and cruisers.
