Reptile World Serpentarium
St. Cloud, Florida
This "working venom farm" has been pulling poison from snakes since 1972, and doing it for the public since 1976, after tourists kept asking to see it. Housed in a cinder block building far away from Florida's vacation centers, the Serpentarium has twice-daily extraction shows that are usually performed by owner George Van Horn. Watch as angry rattlesnakes, mambas, spitting cobras, and an Australian taipan (deadliest of all), try their best to kill whoever's on their side of the glass in the venom extraction theater.
Hah, snake! Your deadly toxin has been collected and will be processed into wonder drugs, or in some cases wrinkle cream! Hah!
