Perry's Cave, War of 1812 Mini-Golf
Put-in-Bay, Ohio
Commodore Perry discovered the cave AND won the nearby Battle of Lake Erie. He didn't play putt-putt, as far as we know.
The cave is a couple hundred feet long and features tourist cavern essentials such as stalactites, cave pearls, and an underground lake, as well as an old water barrel (labeled "Ye Ole Water Barrel") with a rusty dipper. The "War of 18 Holes" Mini-Golf is the only war-themed miniature golf course on the Great Lakes, although it appears that the theme only extends to informative signage, not to obstacles built around tiny sinking ships or Redcoats with furry hats.
