Cattle Raisers Museum

Field review by the editors.

Fort Worth, Texas

This museum within a museum originally had its own building; it now occupies a state-of-the-art space within the Fort Worth Museum of Science and Industry. Interactive exhibits include the Ride-Along Round-Up simulated cattle drive (where you participate from the saddle of a computerized horse); branding games; the Thundering Herd simulated cattle stampede (which takes place in the museum planetarium); and a life-size glowing steer that reveals its many extractable byproducts.
