Giant Muscled Head of JFK
Mount Clemens, Michigan
Is this the head of an alternate universe John F. Kennedy? The one who became a blockheaded football linebacker nicknamed "Big Swede"? Because that's what it looks like. Sculpted by Marshall Fredericks, unveiled in 1970 (the tenth anniversary of a campaign speech delivered by JFK on the same spot), the bronze head is four times life size, which makes it look even more gristly.
